چکیده
In the legend for Figure 4, there is a misspelling. The correct spelling is: 50 mm. The authors have provided a corrected version here. Figure 5 is incorrect. Figure panel 5H was an inadvertent duplication of the figure panel 5G. Figures 5G and H show ELISA quantifications of extra(EC) and intracellular (IC) S1P levels in 3T3 cells (G) and cerebellar granule neurons (H) before and after 30 and 60 min incubation with Nogo-A-D20. The authors have provided a corrected version here.

The Sphingolipid Receptor S1PR2 Is a Receptor for Nogo-A Repressing Synaptic Plasticity
Nogo-A is a membrane protein of the central nervous system (CNS) restricting neurite growth and synaptic plasticity via two extracellular domains: Nogo-66 and Nogo-A-Δ20. Receptors transducing Nogo-A-Δ20 signaling remained elusive so far. Here we identify the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2) as a Nogo-A-Δ20-specific receptor. Nogo-A-Δ20 binds S1PR2 on...
متن کاملRepeated administration of cannabinoid receptor agonist and antagonist impairs short and long term plasticity of rat’s dentate gyrus in vivo
Introduction: The effects of cannabinoids (CBs) on synaptic plasticity of hippocampal dentate gyrus neurons have been shown in numerous studies. However, the effect of repeated exposure to cannabinoids on hippocampal function is not fully understood. In this study, using field potential recording, we investigated the effect of repeated administration of the nonselective CB receptor agonist WIN5...
متن کاملThe Role of Adrenergic Receptors on Neural Excitability and Synaptic Plasticity: A Narrative Review
Adrenergic receptors have an important role in neural excitability and synaptic plasticity. Despite a lot of studies on these receptors, their exact role in brain disorders accompanied with hyperexcitability has not been determined. There are also controversies on their role in synaptic plasticity. In this review article, the important studies done in this regard have been reviewed to achieve a...
متن کاملNogo limits neural plasticity and recovery from injury.
The expression of Nogo-A and the receptor NgR1 limits the recovery of adult mammals from central nervous system injury. Multiple studies have demonstrated efficacy from targeting this pathway for functional recovery and neural repair after spinal cord trauma, ischemic stroke, optic nerve injury and models of multiple sclerosis. Recent molecular studies have added S1PR2 as a receptor for the ami...
متن کاملTetraspanin-3 is an organizer of the multi-subunit Nogo-A signaling complex.
To ensure precision and specificity of ligand-receptor-induced signaling, co-receptors and modulatory factors play important roles. The membrane-bound ligand Nogo-A (an isoform encoded by RTN4) induces inhibition of neurite outgrowth, cell spreading, adhesion and migration through multi-subunit receptor complexes. Here, we identified the four-transmembrane-spanning protein tetraspanin-3 (TSPAN3...
